Support for ADHD and Executive Function.
I am a Certified ADHD and Executive Function Coach and Educator. I am also an ADD'er myself and parent two sons with ADHD. My journey has been a long one! Before understanding what ADHD and deficits in Executive Function (the brain's CEO) really were, my elder son was diagnosed with ADHD/ODD/CD and Dyslexia! We had to scrabble through life at home, awful school experiences, expulsions, exclusions, family crisis, mental health challenges and a lack of true knowledge and support, from professionals, teachers and family. He left school at 14 and I homeschooled him until he passed his GCSE's. I wish I had known the things I know now, it would have been life changing for us a family and maybe my son could have had a more normal school journey and a more 'normal' time as an adolescent. He is now a young man carving his own life out, but learning the life skills much later on .He is my pride and joy, and a true testament of what unconditional love, patience, tolerance, resilience and seriously hard parenting can do.
But honestly, If I could have had an ADHD coach to lead me through this, we would have done it 100% better and not suffered as much as we did.
I'm here now and I really hope if you are reading this, then you have already started your journey and I am glad you have found me. Through my workshops and individual sessions, I help parents understand how ADHD and Executive Function challenges impact learning, motivation, behaviour, and the whole family system. Through our work together, we reduce the arguing, stress, and chaos that often accompanies ADHD to help parents support children to reach their true potential. Count me in as your support network and your guide! I know where you are!
In addition to individual Coaching, I run a Seven-Session Parent Coaching workshop series called Calm and Connected: Parenting Children and Teens with ADHD/Executive Function Challenges©. Created by Cindy Goldrich an extremely experienced and well known coach in The US. It provides excellent support for families of newly diagnosed children and parents who are struggling with parenting their children. The workshop examines how ADHD impacts your child’s development (beyond hyperactivity, impulsivity, and inattentiveness) and then helps parents develop the tools necessary to create a calm environment where compliance and growth can occur. Specific strategies are designed to establish workable, realistic rules and expectations, reduce homework stress, frustration, and chaos, and improve children’s problem-solving, self-advocacy, and communication skills. I firmly believe that following diagnosis, parents and families need to be given support on understanding the impact of ADHD/EF challenges and how to move forward, regardless of medication.

I work with parents, students and schools in order to create a fully supportive and collaborative environment for children who have ADHD or Executive Functioning deficits.
I believe a team approach to treating ADHD is very important, and I welcome the opportunity to share more about my practice and how I can work collaboratively with you. I am always interested in expanding my resource list for clients who need evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management.
